Tech Specs

For applications where bi-directional fiber/coax connections are necessary, the QuadBox Dual TX/RX offers a cost effective solution. Perfect for long reach video applications where camera feeds need to be shared. With an optional 2X2 switch fabric, the Dual TX/RX can be used as a monitoring or trigger device to keep local and remote devices active at the same time. The unit allows a coax input to be converted to a fiber output and inversely, any fiber input to be converted to a coax output. High definition video signals for ASI/SDI, HD-SDI, or 3G-SDI can be passed through each port. The Quadbox Dual TX/RX is compliant with SMPTE 259M, 292M, 372M and 424M.  Each Quadbox supports high definition video with or without embedded audio and data, as well DVB/ASI. Based on a 1310nm SFP fiber module, you can be assured that each fiber signal is immune to video pathological signals for the entire length of the interconnect. The Quadbox fiber system is the lowest total cost solution for converting copper-based signals to fiber-based transmission paths and works exceptionally well with all PESA HD router systems. Each Quadbox comes with a built-in Ethernet port and USB port for easy setup and diagnostics. Up to four modules can be loaded in a 1RU frame with support for redundant power. Setup is simple with the supplied GUI interface.
