Montana Museum Chooses Videotel's VP71 Industrial Media Player for Its Interactive Exhibit to Display the Historical Timeline Video Content The Museum at Central School Chooses Videotel's Industrial Media Player for Its Incomparable Quality and Reliability to Display Video Content for an Interactive Exhibit

The Museum at Central School in Kalispell, Mont. recently installed Videotel's new VP71 industrial DVD player in its newest interactive exhibit. The VP71 is an integral part of the new “History of Flathead Valley” exhibit, which chronicles the early Valley settlers as well as early transportation, agriculture, recreation, communities and communication in the region.

The VP71 is designed for HD looping content on any monitor or screen with video resolutions from 480p to 1080p. The new player is compact and can easily integrate into any media component, including the Museum at Central School’s digital engagement and education opportunity. Videotel's Interplay Module (IPM), custom harness and dry sensor buttons were added as optimization for the overall interactive solution.

“Videotel’s VP71 was the obvious choice for what we needed to display our local history timeline video in our all new History of the Flathead Valley exhibition,” said Gil Jordan, director of the Museum at Central School. “Videotel was great to work with, answering all our detailed questions and providing us with the needed solutions.”

The VP71 is incomparable in quality and reliability. The new digital player features auto start, auto play and auto repeat, even in the event of a power loss, which was a perfect solution for the Museum at Central School.

“Videotel was honored to be a part of the museum’s new exhibit,” said Lisa Schneider, Videotel’s vice president of business development and market strategy. “Manufacturing a reliable industrial video player for digital engagement is at the core of our business. Integrating the new VP71 player into the overall design of this fantastic exhibition further advances our commitment to producing a compact, quality product for the marketplace.”
