New SVSI N1000 Series Delivers Visually Lossless HD with Practically Zero Latency
ORLANDO, FL – June 17, 2015 – At InfoComm 2015, AMX®, a HARMAN Professional brand, debuted eight new models in the SVSI N1000 AV over IP Encoder and Decoder Series. The new SVSI N1000 models feature improved digital pixel reproduction and cut the already small latency in half. The ability to send IP Media for distribution using common managed network switches in any size and configuration makes SVSI solutions extremely flexible and easy to deploy.
The new Encoders and Decoders maintain high definition video quality for distribution drops while dropping latency to an industry leading 10-ms for gigabit links. Packetized video streams not only remain visually lossless throughout distribution, they also arrive instantly. Enhanced SVSI NI1000 Encoder models offer separate HDMI and VGA/RGB inputs. Encoders and Decoders all support PoE and a separate SFP port, allowing visually lossless video to be routed on a fiber-only network and extend signals beyond the reach of category cable. USB connectivity, previously available in the SVSI N2000 product line only, is now an option and will enable users to extend USB over IP for touch-enabled and KVM applications.
"Our integrator and consultant partners are the life blood of our business and we take product and feature recommendations to heart as part of our design engineering process. The latest SVSI N1000 products reflect our desire to continually improve our product lines to reflect the needs of our customers," said Mark Templeton, Director, Sales Engineering, AMX.
