Lantek Brings Magic of Christie MicroTiles to Dallas-Forth Worth

CYPRESS, Calif. – (January 31, 2011) – Christie® is pleased to announce that Lantek Communications has become a dealer for Christie® MicroTiles™. Lantek, one of the premier Audio/Visual contractors in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, has successfully completed some of the largest A/V installations in the Metroplex, including a signification portion of the A/V and all of the Telecommunications Cabling system at the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium.

“Christie MicroTiles are the most flexible solution we’ve seen for the artful implementation of content on a blank canvas,” says Jerry Hawley, Business Development representative with Lantek. “All large performance venues and exhibit platforms are implementing video walls as backdrops, and MicroTiles are the best way to enhance this experience.”

Christie MicroTiles can be stacked and clustered in a variety of shapes to create vibrant, compelling, full-motion visuals. Freeing designers from the constraints of size and shape common in traditional digital display systems, Christie MicroTiles bring new dimensions to digital display in public space by uniting spectacular colors, superior image quality and modular flexibility to meet market demands for high quality, high resolution displays.

Lantek plans to introduce its customers, prospects and partners to Christie MicroTiles and its exciting capabilities at an open house Feb. 17 and 18 at its brand new facility in Grand Prairie, Texas. The new building incorporates edgy, modern architecture with polished concrete and glass walls. Given that, the aesthetic beauty of Christie MicroTiles fits right in.

In addition to the work at Cowboys Stadium, Lantek’s projects include installations at the American Airlines Center, Charles Eisemann Performing Arts Center, Dallas Performance Hall, First Presbyterian Church of Ft. Worth and Third Church of Christ, Dallas.

“We welcome Lantek to our dealer network, and look forward to working with them to bring state-of-the-art video technology to their customers,” said Mitch Rosenberg, director of sales, US Visual Environments, Christie.
