The SX-1R-CWDM (1-slot rack-mount cards) are media converters designed for bi-directional transmission of 10Base-T Ethernet/100Base-T fast Ethernet data over two singlemode fibers using CWDM transmit optics. Auto-negotiation eliminates the need for any internal adjustments or settings. Distances of 60km can be obtained using singlemode fiber. LEDs on the card indicate the status of power, link speed, activity, laser current and optical signal. Standard shielded RJ-45 connectors are provided for CAT5 compatibility. Optical connector options include ST, FC and SC. These units are available in either module or rack mount types.
