In general, the further your camera is away from the presentation space, the higher the camera can be mounted. Also, the more optical zoom you plan to use, the more noticable vibrations will be in the video feed. Wall mounting is recommended for most scenarios, providing a stable and unobstructed view. But in many cases, you may want to use a pole mount to capture the perfect shot in scenarios where you have vaulted ceilings. Plan your cable pathways discreetly, preferably through the wall, to maintain a clean setup.

• Cable Pathways: How will you run the cables? Example: Through the wall requires a cable pull-thru or fish. 
• Height: Eye level when seated is ideal for video communications areas such as meeting space. But eye level when standing is ideal for presentation spaces where people are standing.
• Orientation: You can get additional viewing angles by mounting the camera upside-down and flipping the mount as well.
• Camera Angles: It’s okay to put cameras fairly close to each other, because they can be used in different ways. One can be used for a close up and the other can be a wide shot. With auto-tracking cameras, you can have one tracking a head and shoulder view and the other tracking a full body frame. Once you have your main locations chosen consider a side angle that can increase coverage or a behind the scenes shot that can show the audience area.
